Afghanistan Justice Organization (AJO) under ADALAT project conducted a series of trainings in Kabul, Hirat, Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Panjshir and Parwan Provices for Lawyers and Justice Chain Actors on new Legal Aid Regulation & National Legal Aid Policy.
Each training session scheduled for three days for a total of 501 ( 170 female and 331 male) legal aid providers, Judges, prosecutors, police, AIBA member laywers, legal workers of Juvenile Rehabilitation Centers and exclusively focused on new Legal Aid Regulation and the National Legal Aid Policy.
The purpose of this series of trainings has been to equip the lawyers and justice chain actors on the new legal frame work of legal aid in order to provide better services for those in need and better access to justice for all. AJO/ADALAT had a great contribution in the review and amendement of the new legal aid regulation as well as the national legal aid policy.
