On October 28th , 2020, AJO’s Program Team visited the Justice Directorate of Herat province and met with the State Cases Directorate of the province. The purpose of this visit was to provide orientation to the newly hired interns for the State Cases Directorate of the province. The session included information about the intern’s working and reporting guideline approved by Director of General State Cases Director and other relevant documents including forms. The interns were also informed about the recently started training program in Kabul and the opportunity for interns to participate in these trainings. The interns were also provided with copies of the guideline and forms.
AJO had successfully conducted internship program for fresh female graduates of law and sharia faculties in Kabul and selected provinces with the Legal Aid directorate and its departments at provincial level. AJO recently started conducting same module for the State Cases Directorate of Ministry of Justice in Kabul and 26 selected provinces. The purpose of the internship is to increase the number of female staff within the ministry of justice.
